"#ad" is there because you earn money from the code. The FTC requires that disclosure on paid endorsements, so we keep it in. The FTC says disclosures at the end of a caption are easy to miss, so it goes first. Your original caption follows it unchanged.

The terms, in plain words
Version of October 31, 2026. Turning on your caption line or saving a payout method means you agree to these terms.
What you earn. TrialReel obligates itself to pay you 20% of every payment, after taxes and refunds, that a customer you referred makes during their first 12 months (counted from their first payment; an annual plan counts once). You earn it by making the introduction: it does not depend on whether you keep promoting us.
Partners (by invitation). TrialReel obligates itself to pay each Partner 30% of every payment their customers make, for as long as each customer keeps paying, in every month the Partner is Active. This covers customers referred before and after becoming a Partner, from the day you become one.
Active means at least 4 public posts in a calendar month (New York time) that carry the disclosure line, counted automatically by TrialReel. Posts deleted within 7 days don't count. Your dashboard shows your count live.
Missing one month is a warning only: you're still paid at the Partner rate.
Missing two months in a row pauses the Partner rate from the next month. While paused, customers still in their first 12 months keep earning you the 20% base; later payments earn nothing that month, and those months aren't paid later.
Get back to 4 posts in a month within 90 days and the Partner rate resumes on all your customers. After 90 days, customers you referred before the pause stay on the base terms; new customers earn the Partner rate again.
Who counts as your referral. A new TrialReel account that comes through your code or link, then pays. A code someone types in wins outright. Otherwise, the last link they clicked in the 60 days before signing up counts. Once a customer is yours, they stay yours for the whole period above; there are no splits. Your own, household, alternate or co-owned accounts never count.
When you're paid. Each commission waits 30 days for refunds, then becomes payable. We pay on the 15th of every month for everything that cleared the month before. If a payout will be late, we tell you before the 15th. You need $25 payable to get a payout; a smaller balance rolls over and is never lost, and anything left is paid at the December payout or when you leave.
Refunds and chargebacks. A refund during the 30-day hold lowers or cancels that commission. A refund we choose to give after the hold is on us: you keep your commission. A chargeback (a customer disputing the charge with their bank) is taken back; if it was already paid, it comes off your next payout. We never ask you to send money back, except for fraud.
Honest promotion. The disclosure line ("#ad · Made with trialreel.app · code") goes first in the caption and only on posts made with TrialReel. Share only real results: no invented views, earnings or follower counts. No posting codes on coupon or deal sites, no bidding on "TrialReel" in search ads, no fake sign-ups, no self-referrals. If a rule is broken we withhold only the commissions it touched. You can only be removed, with pending earnings forfeited, for proven fraud, after written notice and a chance to respond.
Taxes. We collect a W-9 (US) or W-8BEN (outside the US) before your first payout. US partners paid $2,000 or more in a year get a 1099-NEC. Without a tax ID, US law requires us to withhold 24%.
If the terms change. We give at least 30 days' notice by email and on this page. Changes only apply to customers referred after the change: customers you've already referred stay on the rate and length in force when they signed up. We never use the word "lifetime" and never reduce what you've earned.
If you leave, or we end the program. Everything earned is paid. Base commissions continue for the rest of each customer's 12 months. A Partner removed without cause gets the Partner rate for 90 more days first.
We don't know of anything from Instagram that says a short text line changes distribution, but we can't promise it doesn't. Turn it on for a week and compare your numbers in TrialReel. You can switch it off anytime.
Can agencies join?
Yes. Agencies earn on every client they bring in, and the agency plan itself counts too.
How do I become a Partner?
Partners are invited. As a guide, affiliates with 10 or more paying customers are considered, but we may invite anyone who promotes us well. You can also email us.
