Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TrialReel, available at trialreel.app (the "Service"), operated by Elliot Goldman ("TrialReel", "we", "us"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't use the Service.

1. What the Service does

TrialReel renders new versions of videos you provide — adjusting color, speed, pitch, framing and on-screen text — inside your web browser, so you can post them as Instagram trial reels or elsewhere. Processing happens on your device. We do not receive, store or transmit your video files.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old, or the age of majority where you live, to use the Service or purchase credits.

3. Your content

• You may only use videos you own or have the rights to modify and publish. You are solely responsible for the content you process and post.
• You must not use the Service to process content that infringes anyone's intellectual property, publicity or privacy rights, or that violates the terms of any platform where you post it.
• You retain all rights to your videos and the versions you create. We claim no ownership of them.

4. Credits and payments

• Credits are consumed when a version is rendered. One credit = one version. Credits do not expire.
• Credit packs are sold as one-time purchases processed by Stripe. Prices are shown in US dollars before checkout and may change; the price shown at checkout applies.
• Refunds: unused credits are refundable on request within 7 days of purchase. Credits already used to render versions are not refundable. Email us to request a refund.
• Credits are currently stored on the device and browser where you use the Service. Clearing your browser data may remove them. Contact us with your Stripe receipt and we will restore purchased credits.

5. Third parties

TrialReel is not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Instagram or Meta Platforms, Inc. Whether trial reels are available to you, and how they perform, is determined entirely by Instagram. Payments are handled by Stripe under Stripe's own terms and privacy policy. Hosting is provided by Vercel.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to: interfere with or disrupt the Service; attempt to gain unauthorized access to credits, accounts or systems; reverse-engineer the Service for the purpose of circumventing payment; or use the Service for anything unlawful.

7. No guarantees

The Service is provided "as is" and "as available". We make no promises about views, reach, follower growth, platform behavior, or that any platform will treat a version as original content. Browser rendering depends on your device and browser; some browsers produce WebM instead of MP4.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, TrialReel will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, reach or goodwill, arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.

9. Changes and termination

We may update the Service or these Terms. Material changes will be posted on this page with a new date. We may suspend or end access to the Service for anyone who violates these Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, USA, without regard to conflict-of-law rules. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Palm Beach County, Florida.
