For creators posting Instagram trial reels

One video in. Up to 5 new edits out, every day.

TrialReel re-cuts your own footage into real new edits (a different opening, a different ending, a tighter middle, no text on the video) so you can test more of what you've already filmed as Instagram trial reels, shown to people who don't follow you yet.

$9 for your first week, then from $49 a month. Cancel anytime.

Today: new edits of your videos every day, ready to download. Auto-posting to Instagram is open to invited testers while Meta finishes reviewing our app.

What you get today

New to trial reels? They are Instagram reels shown only to people who don't follow you. Longer explanation →

Does it work today?

Yes. Upload your videos, get new edits, download them and post them anywhere. Posting straight to Instagram goes through Meta's official API, and Meta is still reviewing our access, so auto-posting is open only to invited testers for now.

Will this get my account flagged?

We can't promise what Instagram does. We can promise we never repost the same video: every cut is fingerprinted, a repeat is blocked for 30 days, and every cut is reviewed before you get it.

How it works: you upload, we edit, you post

Sign in with your email

Sign in with your email and upload your videos.

We email you a code, so there is no password. Upload the videos you want more of, raw footage or reels you've already posted, and flip the switch.

We make real new cuts of your best reels.

A different opening, a different ending, a tighter middle — cut from the footage you already shot, never the same clip twice. No hooks slapped on top, no captions burned in. Each one comes with a caption you can copy.

You download them and post them anywhere.

Each new edit lands in your Ready to post list. Download it, copy the caption, and post it on Instagram, TikTok or YouTube Shorts. Today: new edits of your videos every day, ready to download. Auto-posting to Instagram is open to invited testers while Meta finishes reviewing our app.

The rules it runs by

Reposting the same video with a new caption is exactly what Instagram throttles. Every edit is built around that.

Never the same cut twice

Every edit is fingerprinted by what's actually in it. A cut you already got won't be made again for 30 days — a new caption or a crop doesn't count as new.

No text on the video

Clean footage, the way you shot it. No hook text, no subtitles, no title cards. Your words stay in your caption.

A daily limit you can see

Your plan sets how many new edits you get a day. Instagram's API accepts up to 100 posts per account per day; TrialReel's plans use far fewer. When auto-posting is on, posts are spaced through the day.

A gate before every edit reaches you

Each cut is reviewed on the exact words the viewer will hear. Cuts that start mid-thought, include off-camera talk, or just aren't good are thrown out before they reach you.

Things you'd ask before flipping it on

Is auto-posting live today?
Not for everyone. What works now: upload your videos, get new edits, download them and post them anywhere. Posting straight to Instagram goes through Meta's official API, and Meta is still reviewing our access, so until it's approved, auto-posting is open only to invited testers. The iOS app is in App Store review; the web app works now.
What happens on day 8?
Your plan starts at its normal price: $49, $99 or $249 a month, or the yearly price if you chose yearly. We remind you in the app 3 days before. Cancel before then and you pay only the $9. After your first payment you have 7 days to ask for a refund; the exact wording is in the Terms.
Will this get my account flagged or shadowbanned?
Posting the same video again with a new caption is what gets throttled, so TrialReel never makes one: every cut is fingerprinted and a repeat is blocked for 30 days, and every cut is reviewed before you get it. When auto-posting is on, posts are spaced through the day, and Instagram's API accepts up to 100 posts per account per day, far more than TrialReel's plans use. We can't promise what Instagram does; we can promise we don't do the things that cause it.
What does it do to my video?
It re-cuts the videos you upload (new opening, new ending, tighter middle). If you connect Instagram, it can also re-cut reels you've already posted. It adds no text, captions or voiceovers on Autopilot: clean footage, no hashtags we made up. Autopilot Plus lets you turn on captions and set your own editing rules, and choose exactly which videos are in rotation.
What if I only have a few videos?
The number of different edits depends on how much footage you upload. A repeat is blocked for 30 days, so with a small library you can get fewer edits than your plan's daily number. If you have a small library, the cheaper plan is the better fit.
Do I need 1,000 followers?
For Instagram trial reels, Instagram asks for a professional (Creator or Business) account with at least 1,000 followers, and rolls the feature out gradually. Under 1,000, the same edits still work as regular posts on Instagram, TikTok and YouTube Shorts. Requirements →
Do my followers see any of this?
Only what you choose to post. If you post an edit as an Instagram trial reel, it is shown only to non-followers, and nothing appears on your profile grid unless Instagram graduates it to a regular reel, which only happens when it performs.
What do you do with my footage?
To edit your videos we store them on our servers and send them to a few service providers, including AI providers. We don't sell personal information, and you can delete everything at any time. Privacy policy →
How do I stop it, or leave?
Flip the switch off and no new edits are made or scheduled. Cancel any time from the billing page in the app, or by emailing admin@jwfl.org. If TrialReel isn't for you, email us within 7 days of your first payment for a refund. "Delete my account" in the app removes your account, your Instagram connection and everything we stored, immediately. Posts already on Instagram stay yours. Data deletion →
